SENIOR ACCOUNTANT/CLIENT MANAGER in STOKE-ON-TRENT, STAFFORDSHIRE – JOB REF: JO17041
Accountancy Elite are very pleased to be partnered with a highly regarded practice in Stoke-on-Trent. Due to their excellent reputation and networking activities they are now going through a period of expansion because of business growth and excellent client retention. The perfect candidate for this role would be fully ACCA/ACA qualified, be a very people orientated person and able to communicate with people at all levels, would have a minimum of 5 years previous practice experience and have experience of handling a portfolio of clients.
Working closely with the directors responsible for the clients you are allocated but working closely

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
?Review of accounts files prepared by junior members
?Training of support team to ensure file completed in most efficient way
?Review of management accounts and KPI’s
?Produce accurate and meaningful FPRs.
?Client relationships and managing service levels
?Answering emails, correspondence and telephone calls to firms standards
?Overseeing work-flow for support team, planning in work
?Issuing reminder correspondence/calls for personal tax, accounts and p11d?s
?Invoicing and direct debit renewals
?Meeting with clients and prospects
?Attending events to represent the firm.
?Taxation expertise
?Pre year-end tax planning reviews
?Legal entities ? understanding tax aspects and other advantages/disadvantages of each
?Corporation tax planning
?Personal tax planning
?R&D credits ? understanding, discussing with clients, organising and invoicing
?Enhanced capital allowances – understanding, discussing with clients, organising and invoicing
?EMI scheme? understanding, discussing with clients, organising and invoicing
?Tax enquiries ? assist director and invoicing Abbey Tax
?VAT enquiries ? deal with HMRC and assist client
?Group structure ? understanding, discussing with clients, organising and invoicing
?Corporate finance
?Castaway forecasting
?Assisting directors with raising finance, acquisitions, disposals etc
?Nurturing relationships with bank managers at similar level
?Wealth management
?Knowledge of MCWM services
?Discussions with clients and referrals to team
?Wills and business protection knowledge and referrals
?Audit
?Attend planning meetings
?Liaise with audit team to ensure accounts produced on time and ready for audit
?Technology and software
?Conversion of clients to cloud technology
?Understanding of cloud accounting packages

Candidates Attributes:

?Be fully ACCA/ACA qualified or QBE.
?Extensive practice experience working closely with senior team.
?Be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
?Have good experience of software packages such as Iris, Sage, Quickbooks, Xero.

Salary: ?30,000 – ?45,000 dependant on experience and value added.
Benefits: Company Pension and Benefits package including incentive scheme and bonus scheme.
Working hours: 9am-5:00pm (FLEXIBLE WORKING BETWEEN 8AM-6PM)
