SENIOR TAX MANAGER – OXFORD, OXFORDSHIRE – JOB REF: JO16630
We are delighted to again be working with a valued client in Oxford. Our clients are looking to recruit a Senior Tax Manager to join a very established department. Steeped in history yet innovative and very forward thinking this accountancy practice would be a fantastic place to carve out and establish yourself as a force in the tax world.
Our client requires an experienced Tax Manager (CTA/ATT Qualified or QBE) with previous practice experience.
Duties of the role include but not restricted to:-
·Provide tax planning and leading or contributing to tax advisory assignments with the support of others where needed.
·The role is more suited to an individual more focussed on business tax advisory work and who is appropriately skilled and experienced.
·Manage and nurture client relationships and liaise directly with them.
·Manage the tax compliance and advisory work of owner managed businesses and their proprietors including the review and preparation of more complex company tax returns, partnership tax returns and personal tax returns.
·Potential opportunities to manage a team of staff if desired.
·Fantastic opportunities to develop your wider technical knowledge and business skill set along with real opportunities to progress in the firm.
·Flexible hours will be considered.
·Qualified CTA/ATT or QBE with previous practice experience.
·Relevant experience and technical knowledge to perform duties listed above to a high standard.
·Working Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17.00
·Salary bracket of £45k – £60k dependant on experience.
